Miami International Airport has gained a US Department of Agriculture permit that will allow it to receive perishable freight imports by sea as well as air, allowing it to carry out ocean-to-air trans-Shipments from Latin America arriving in to PortMiami or Port Everglades can be transported to the airport for onward transport by KLM Cargo or Centurion Cargo to destinations in Europe and Asia.
