AsstrA will now insure its activities as a transportation provider with Zürich Versicherungs-Gesellschaft AG.
At the beginning of 2018, AsstrA-Associated Traffic AG, took a huge step forward in regards to liability insurance as a shipping agent and transporter. AsstrA now has an insurance policy for 3 million euros, an amount three times greater than before.
AsstrA continues to organize all-risks cargo insurance with its reliable and trusted partner, Basler Versicherung AG (Switzerland). However, AsstrA will now insure its activities as a transportation provider with another Swiss insurer, Zürich Versicherungs-Gesellschaft AG.
Zürich Versicherungs-Gesellschaft AG is a global insurance leader with more than 150 years on the market. The new partnership is the next step in AsstrA’s ongoing efforts to provide customers with the best solutions available.
The new insurance policy comes as a result of the company’s commitment to continuous improvement. Order quantities, the scope of transportation services offered, and the customer base – including some of world’s biggest brands – all continue to grow. For customers transporting significant quantities, insurance is an extremely important issue especially when choosing the right logistics partner. An insurance policy for only 1 million euro could have limited AsstrA’s chances of winning tenders organized by key customers or restrict the company’s efforts to expand partnerships.
Instead of gradually increasing the policy amount, the decision was made to dramatically increase it taking into consideration the rapid pace of the company’s growth.
