Palestine accedes to TIR

Palestine has become the 72nd country to accede to the United Nations TIR Convention, marking the latest advance in the development of road and multimodal transport in the Middle East and North Africa region.

The system is expanding rapidly, with Pakistan, China and India, home to almost 40% of the world’s population, acceding to the Convention within the last three years alone. Read more
