Germany - Commercial vehicles charged for 33.6 billion km

Commercial vehicles that are subject to road charges covered around 33.6 billion km on Germany’s 15,000 km long toll road network in 2017, 3.3% more than in 2016.

 

The performance of German HGVs grew by 0.4% to 19.3 billion km, whilst that of vehicles registered elsewhere rose by 7.7% to 14.3 billion km.

 

German HGVs accounted for the lion’s share (57.4%) of the overall mileage, followed by vehicles from Poland (16.1%), Czechia (4.1%) and Romania (3.5%). Read more
