New IRU leadership elected for Eurasia committee

IRU’s Liaison Committee to Eurasia (CLEA), promoting trade and transport between Europe and Asia, has elected a new governing board for the next two year term.

With Eurasia providing an essential bridge between East and West, the region’s drive to modernise, harmonise and digitalise its transport services infrastructure has intensified in the light of China’s Belt and Road initiative. The newly elected Board therefore takes on a challenging mandate, as trade and transit prospects across the region look set to grow. Read more
