Tyrol and Germany at loggerheads

Germany and Tyrol (Austria) are still arguing about the restrictive block clearance of HGVs on the countries’ common border.

 

The German national association for road freight transportation, logistics and waste management (BGL) remarked: “Tyrol says that the HGV block clearance system is proving effective, but Germany says it leads to kilometre long tailbacks on roads in Bavaria.” Read more
