Fedex partners for long-range drones

Fedex Express has agreed with Silicon Valley-based Elroy Air to develop an autonomous drone. The purpose of the cooperation is to test Elroy Air's autonomous air cargo system within Fedex' logistics operations in USA.

In a press release, Fedex said that the exponential growth of e-commerce has accelerated the demand for "reliable, efficient transportation and logistics solutions throughout all stages of the supply chain." Read more
