First LNG-powered vessel calls at Puerto Cortés

On 25 April 2023, Operadora Portuaria Centroamericana (OPC), the Honduran business unit of the Philippines-headquartered independent group International Container Terminal Services Inc. (Ictsi), welcomed the inaugural call of "Seaboard Blue".

 

The first container vessel in the world to be converted from conventional diesel to LNG propulsion docked at Puerto Cortés under the "North and Central America" service of Seaboard Marine. Read more
