US railroad upgrading infrastructure

The US railroad Union Pacific (UP) plans to invest USD 9.1 million in Minnesota and USD 11.5 million in New Mexico to maintain the two US states’ railroad track and bridges.

Key projects in Minnesota include the replacement of more than 21,000 railroad ties between Mankato and St James, and nearly 5,000 railroad ties on yard and industry tracks in St Paul and South St Paul. Read more
