easyJet chooses DHL for ground handling
easyJet has chosen DHL to take over its ground handling operations from Menzies Aviation at London Gatwick Airport. The logistics business will be responsible for more than nine million departing easyJet passengers.
The contract begins on 1st November this year.
“easyJet is looking forward to developing a new partnership with DHL building on their global expertise in logistics and service,” said Chris Browne, chief operating officer, easyJet.”The focus of all three companies will be to achieve a seamless transition over the coming months providing high quality services to easyJet’s passengers at Gatwick while enabling affected staff to move to DHL.” Read more
