Estonia introduces road toll for trucks

Estonia has introduced a road toll for HGVs and their trailers with a maximum permitted weight of over 3.5 t. In addition to the HGVs registered in Estonia, foreign commercial vehicles will also be obliged to pay charges on the country’s public road network.

The charge depends on the weight of the HGV and its trailer, the number of axles, and the vehicle’s emission class. Read more
