HGV drivers need more appreciation

Truck drivers in Germany want more appreciation for their work. Furthermore, they want transport companies to step up their public relations activities. These facts came to light in a survey carried out by the purchasing association Elvis and Stuttgart University.

 

Scientific methods were used to evaluate the instruments and methods that are used to combat driver shortages. The survey also examined the strength of drivers’ loyalty to their firms and profession, as well as their job satisfaction. Read more
