The electric vans are already being deployed in some European countries.
The Deutsche Post DHL Group’s subsidiary Street Scooter has received permission to mass produce its basic electric delivery van “Work” from the German motor transport authority (KBA).
The EC vehicle type approval for large scale production applies to other EU countries, as well as Switzerland and Norway. The KBA approval also makes the registration of Street Scooter’s vehicles in non-EU states substantially easier. Read more
