By the end of 2020, over 636,000 t of greenhouse gas emissions are expected to be eliminated.
New data surveys show that diesel engines and equipment using advanced biofuels, including biodiesel and renewable diesel fuel, have delivered more greenhouse gas reduction benefits than vehicle electrification and even ethanol, said the NPO diesel technology forum in the USA.
In the US state of Oregon for example, biodiesel and renewable diesel are already slated to play a key role in achieving new climate goals which include a 25% reduction by 2035 relative to 2015 levels. Read more
