Launching new train on Silk Road

Metrans, part of HHLA, will launch a new intermodal service along a section of the new Silk Road, running from Malaszewice (Poland) to Ceska Trebova (Czechia), from 10 March 2019, with two roundtrips a week.

 

This regular connection will offer significant time and cost savings in comparison to other services and a CO2 efficient solution for truck transports from Malaszewice. It will also provide a unique direct connection within Central and Eastern Europe, according to Hamburg-based Metrans. Read more
