App optimises HGV transport in Hamburg

Eurogate Intermodal (Egim) has introduced an amended version of its T Road application that simplifies route planning for local traffic in and around the port of Hamburg. The app takes current market needs into account, particularly with respect to the port’s slot booking process.

T Road communicates directly with a driver's smartphone and assigns them trips via a push message. Egim said that the app update makes scheduling and the control of truck transports substantially easier. Read more
