Road freight activities to double at least by 2050

The latest report issued by the International Transport Forum (ITF) identifies proven measures that will decrease the road haulage industry's CO2 emissions.

 

Goods transport by road consumes around 50% of all diesel fuel and accounts for 80% of the global net increase in diesel use since 2000. Projections see roadfreight activities at least doubling to 2050, offsetting efficiency gains and increasing the sector's CO2 emissions.Read more
