Spanish ports to introduce logistic terminals

Cooperation protocol to expand ports of Valencia-Fuente de San Luis, Alicante, Sagunto and Castellon

The Spanish minister of development, Ana Pastor, and the president of the Valencia region, Alberto Fabra, have signed a cooperation protocol to expand the ports of Valencia-Fuente de San Luis, Alicante, Sagunto and Castellon with intermodal logistic terminals.

The ministry of development and Valencia's council of infrastructure, land and environment will conduct the studies for each of these terminals, in order to assess their financial and logistic viability and the best promotional and management models.

The cooperation agreement furthermore encompasses the possible creation of a monitoring commission formed by each three representatives of the ministry of development and the council of infrastructure, land and environment. Read more
