The Australian government has dispensed with the requirement for semitrailer rear bumpers to be painted white – a change that is predicted to save operators AUD 12.4 million (EUR 7.9 million) over the next decade, according to the Australian Trucking Association (ATA).
The change will go into force for new trailers as soon the new standard is officially registered. Read more
