As events and initiatives are being fine-tuned, on the exhibition front we prepare to greet the top companies in every sector.
MILAN – The run-up to the next edition of Transpotec Logitec – the go-to transport sector industry trade fair organized by Fiera Milano at Veronafiere from 22 to 25 February 2017 – is right on track.
Around nine months before the event opens its doors, almost half of all available space is already occupied. Interest is growing in the trade fair, on the back of an Italian market trend which, since the turn of the year, has registered a sharp recovery in all sectors.
Against this optimistic backdrop, Transpotec caters to a widely-held industry-wide need for a place to come together, where manufacturers and operators can talk about proposals and solutions conceived to make road haulage ever more sustainable, high-tech and competitive.
Key international players are already on board, choosing the event to present their latest developments in every sector.
Exhibition preparation is moving forwards apace, and a number of highlights from the next edition of Transpotec are already in the spotlight: there will be a particularly broad range of trailers, fittings and components in the temperature-controlled field, a sector which is keen to offer high standards of qualitative performance as well as reduced energy consumption.
Sustainability and attentiveness to the environment lie at the heart of what's on offer from fuel and additive suppliers, who are keen to provide operators with high-performance products that are ever more effective at reducing emissions and respecting the environment.
The components sector will also be out in force, including one major new development: Aftermarket Village, a dedicated area for truck accessories and parts, conceived specially for vehicle maintenance professionals.
As well as the wide-ranging exhibition, a whole series of interesting events and experiences is being lined up, all selected to provide visiting professionals with the tools they need to find out about products and services.
In partnership with top level publishers, associations and institutional players, a broad programme of theme-based exhibition events is being developed. In addition to aftermarket coverage, there are dedicated spaces for guaranteed used vehicles and road haulier services. A number of awards ceremonies are being held to identify and leverage enterprise and operator best practice to recognize operators who have achieved high levels of efficiency and been particularly environmentally-sustainable.
Visitors can also go on road tests, this time on a city route. Training and professional refresher courses are available, and there’s a big entertainment programme to showcase the passion that surrounds these giants of the roads.
Transpotec 2017 is on at the very same time as the SaMoTer, the International Earth Moving and Building Machinery Exhibition. Held once every three years, this must-attend Veronafiere event for construction machinery professionals offers industry visitors the chance to make the most of an even broader range of offerings, all covered under the same entrance ticket.
