IRU celebrates the opening of its new offices.
More than 100 major transport stakeholders and EU political and business leaders join IRU to celebrate the opening of its new offices located at the heart of the European quarter.
Matthias Maedge, who leads IRU’s work in Europe, said, “This is a milestone for our delegation in Brussels and the organisation as a whole. We want to share clear messages in this challenging and exciting period and the Commission’s mobility package proposals are a real test for our industry. Our new office should be the place to discuss and define the future of road transport together with our members and partners.”
Speaking at the event last night, the European Commission and the upcoming Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU recognised IRU as a key partner in the dialogues on road transport policies and welcomed its move to a new, more strategically located home, to enhance collaboration. Read more
