DHL eCommerce is to expand its distribution centre in Hong Kong to accommodate e-commerce export growth expected to reach €1.6 trillion by 2020.
The distribution centre will support growth from the southern region of China, such as Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Hong Kong, connecting e-commerce exports to 220 countries and territories worldwide, including the UK and U.S.
The centre has the capacity to manage over 70 million shipments annually and specialises in e-commerce exports weighing up to 2kg as well as handling special shipments such as lithium batteries – ideal for e-commerce sellers looking to export to an increasing number of markets internationally.
