The German freight forwarder Reax is making large-scale investments into eco-friendly vehicles and has ordered 20 LNG trucks from Volvo. According to Volvo, Reax is the first forwarder in Germany to deploy so many of these new vehicles on the roads.
The first seven trucks have already been handed over. The power train of the LNG trucks is based on reliable diesel engine technology and offers the same performance while reducing CO₂ emissions by 20%. Depending on the size of the tank, a LNG truck can manage a distance of up to 1,000 km. Read more
