The new call at Taranto is combined with intermodal connections to Central and North Italy.
CMA CGM will add a new call in Taranto, Italy, to its Turmed service as from 10 July 2020. This service links Turkey, Tunisia and Europe via the group’s Malta port hub. Four 1,100 teu vessels will be deployed. From July on, Italy and Turkey will be connected in only three days.
Daily train departures from the port of Taranto will furthermore provide an intermodal link towards Central and North Italy, particularly the cities of Milan, Piacenza, Bologna, Jesi and Marcianise. Read more
