XPO Logistics has revealed details of new UK distribution services it deployed in just 12 days for Samsung SDS on behalf of Samsung Climate Solutions.
The multi-service offering for the manufacturer of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) technologies integrates XPO’s last mile transport, warehousing and customs clearance services.
Samsung’s entire UK stock of air conditioning units is stored at XPO’s warehouse in Crick, Northamptonshire, with XPO providing Samsung and its customers with real-time notification and delivery scheduling on XPO’s Trax app.
XPO is also managing last mile distribution for Samsung from 10 regional hubs through its fleet of 18-ton, tail-lift trucks alongside the tracking technology.
