Fully electric trucks arrive in Switzerland

Camion Transport will deploy the three eCanters in the city centres of Basel, Lucerne and Geneva.

With the delivery of three Fuso eCanter trucks to Camion Transport, Switzerland opens a new chapter in eco-friendly logistics. The brand is the world’s first fully electric truck to be developed for serial production. More than 200 vehicles are currently in daily service in the USA, Europa and Japan.

Camion Transport will deploy the three eCanters in the city centres of Basel, Lucerne and Geneva for local emission-free goods deliveries.

The Swiss forwarder already has Fuso EcoHybrid vehicles in its fleet. With the new trucks, Camion Transport is nearing its goal to carry out deliveries in inner cities with completely emission-free trucks by 2025. Read more
