The Austrian federal state of Tyrol has again announced block customs clearances for this week. Daily so-called block-handling days have been ordered until and including Friday, 27 May 2022. The situation is likely to become particularly acute this week with the Ascension Day holiday.
The Bavarian logistics associations LBS and LBT are already warning of chaotic traffic conditions in the Inn Valley and the neighbouring regions due to the combination of truck traffic, the holiday ban on trucks, the expected lively day trip traffic and the block handlings. Read more
