Search Company:
Established in 1957 by Domenico Ambrogio, the company is focused on the international European market. Ambrogio understood in advance the difficulties of long distance road haulage in terms of regularity, safety and costs for the community.
With this conviction in mind, Ambrogio aimed decisively at the intermodal system, integrating road and rail and investing substantially in infrastructures and vehicles to create a more efficient operation. Thus, Ambrogio anticipated the congestion of the road system, which over the years has come closer to collapse, as well as environmental problems which have become more and more relevant.
Today, Ambrogio is at the forefront of transport solutions which combine the simplicity of its own technology with the potential of the quantity of vehicles used. The internal organisation, supported by an advanced ICT system enables constant communication with customers in real time, the integration of value added logistics, intermediate storage and advanced warehousing thus guaranteeing the delivery of goods to the place and at the time required.
Furthermore, Ambrogio is a founder member of the European Intermodal Association (E.I.A.) of Brussels.
