Stante & Ecotrans is a company operating in the shipping and logistics sectors.
The business was started up as a family concern in Como in 1990 trading under the name Ecotrans S.r.l. The initial objective was to act as a 'General Forwarder' for the expanding local textile industry. This first goal was achieved almost immediately in that even at the beginning of the 1990s the company had already acquired the reputation of a reliable and committed business.
In the mid-1990s, in the light of changes in the structures of international politics and geography, Ecotrans decided to dedicate a significant part of its resources to the development of transport services with Eastern European countries and the Far East. Following the purchase of 50% of its share capital by the Stante Group in 1991, the company was given the name it still has today - 'Stante & Ecotrans'.
We have now become a medium-sized business with a youthful (early thirties) management team at the helm. We offer extensive shipping services working in co-operation with a network of correspondents in 22 countries throughout the world.
